Authora Inc Announces Zendit v2.5 Release. |

Seattle -- May 19, 2003 -- This latest version of ZenditTM is, as always proactive and socially responsible technology:
Version 2.5 of Authora’s encryption, authentication and digital signature applications and services work with Windows and run on Windows 95, 98, 2000, NT4, Millennium and Windows XP. There is no special hardware required to use ZenditTM. Simply register and confirm registration with ZenditTM, install the program on a PC and it’s ready to use.
Protect desktop files. Just right click any document and encrypt it. This feature is what you can use for encrypted attachments with your email in this version of the ZenditTM System.
Zendit for Outlook plug-in: When using ZenditTM, email is encrypted before it travels over the Internet, it is also stored encrypted locally. Only the sender and intended recipient can read the encrypted emails.
Simple crypto lock and key management: Use the Vault area of the ZenditTM System to view details and manage Public Locks (for encryption) and Private Keys (for decryption).
Strong and Standard Cryptography: ZenditTM uses the Open PGP standard by default, which is used by thousands of corporate users and millions of individual users worldwide to secure their information. Authora's ZenditTM Desktop version empowers users who need to enable security and authentication using proven technology. The software complies with the OpenPGP standard and can also support X.509 certificates. ZenditTM protects your data by encrypting it so that only intended recipient can read it. Users can also digitally sign data, which ensures its authenticity, that it has not been altered during its transfer, and also can be legally binding.
Integrates with Internet Explorer: To provide the full range of cryptographic services (encryption, decryption, digital signatures and verification, keyring management, and more) with messages sent and received with web-based email services such as MSN Hotmail, Yahoo!, Lycos, Excite, and many others.
