Network Intelligence shares
in $1.3M Net security sale to DoD
Walpole-based Network Intelligence Corp., a maker of security event management (SEM) systems, and Maryland’s Patriot Technologies Inc., a maker of integrated information security solutions for the government sector, have sold a combined security management solution to a unnamed major defense agency, valued at $1.3 million.
The combined solution also included technology from Israel’s Check Point Software Technologies and Atlanta-based Internet Security Systems Inc.
The package consisted of Check Point VPN-1/FireWall-1, Network Intelligence's SEM appliance, the Network Intelligence Engine, Internet Security Systems' RealSecure Network 7.0 and Patriot Technology's infrastructure design and deployment services.
Across the board, our government customers demand unmatched security and performance, said Michael Killoran, vice president of sales at Network Intelligence, in a statement. Government agencies continue to be at the forefront of evaluating their security benchmarks, and they continue to make significant investments to protect confidential and classified information from threats by hackers and viruses.
Patriot Technologies is a reseller of Network Intelligence appliances to federal and state governments and agencies, and commercial accounts.
