Executive Summary
Name: Sober.Q (F-Secure)
Affects: Windows XP/XP SP2/2000/2003/NT/ME/98/95
What it does: Sober.Q is not a conventional mail worm. It was installed to systems that had already been infected with our Top Threat from two weeks ago, Sober.P. It is not spreading actively from those systems, but the systems are sending out spam messages. Perhaps for this reason, Symantec has renamed this threat as Trojan.Ascetic.C.
How to remove it: Use antivirus software to remove this infection.
