Spyware: Intermix settles with spyware lawsuit for 7.5 Million USD |

Earlier we covered a story about New York going after Intermix in a spyware lawsuit. Now, Intermix has settled the spyware lawsuit for $7.5 million, and that "The company also said it would permanently discontinue distribution of its adware, redirect and tool-bar programs, all of which Intermix said it had previously stopped distributing. Intermix said it did not admit any wrongdoing or liability. " So its rather absurd to see that "Intermix shares rose $1.50, or 24.6%, to $7.60 in after-hours trading on Inet following the news. "
