Security Experts Jump at the Chance to Work for MIS CDS
MIS Corporate Defence Solutions (MIS CDS) has expanded into the Thames Valley area with three new staff and a Basingstoke based office. The company has recruited three new Business Development heads; Tony Allen, Jody Presland and Kevin Wright, who have 14 years combined experience in the security market and have joined MIS CDS from security supplier, Diagonal.
MIS CDS has been based in Maidstone, Kent since 1992 and has a head office of 50 staff. The head office employs the cream of the crop of security professionals, but after several successful financial years, a growing customer base and the huge opportunity to work with new customers in the M3/M4 corridor, MIS CDS decided to employ additional expertise to service this area.
MIS CDS has hired these new individuals based on their wealth of experience in a wide range of fields. Tony specialises in licensing and support, Jody has been a senior account manager to FTSE 100 companies and has real strength in the financial sector and Kevin is very strong with new business generation and specialises in new technologies such as wireless, remote access and mobile solutions.
MIS CDS believes that ‘people buy from people’ and that it is extremely important to have a local presence for its customers, many of whom are in a close vicinity to its new office.
“This new office will give MIS CDS a local face for our current clients and allow us to extend our offering to many new accounts,” said Matt Tomlinson, Sales Director for MIS CDS. “There is just so much security experience to be harnessed within the Thames Valley area. Within three weeks of looking for new people we had interviewed and hired staff who all fitted the exact profile we had in mind.”
MIS CDS works with all of the market leading vendors, all of whom have been delighted to hear about the company’s recruitment drive.

MIS CDS is still looking to recruit two more commercial individuals and has interviewed several of the industry’s well known technical experts, one of whom will be in the Basingstoke office by the end of August 2005.
