1972 Vet ( first responder) advised me to get this info to you about SpyCatcher:

It is a post reply on another forum from
Mr. TE Smith, the VP of Communications at
Tenbril, Inc. , regarding the tactics used by Tenebril to insure that SpyCatcher isn't attacked by the spyware it intends to eliminate using tactics similar to the spyware itself... is very interesting and I think it may answer your concerns.. Please read the entire thread, as Mr Smith responds more than once to concerns about the tactics implemented.

I also have two more links for you to note....

The first link is from McAfee claiming Interceptor.dll is in fact a trojan.
The second link is a factoid from File.Net stating that Interceptor.dll is a product of Tenebril Inc.
This may be a source of some very serious controversy in the near future and I am trying to get to the heart of it. I have contacted Tenebril Tech Support and they claim that interceptor.dll is a trojan and that they dont use Interceptor.dll, however, I have the interceptor.dll file here on my system in the SpyCatcher program folder (where, for some mysteriously obvious reason, it installed to by default)...incidentally, SpyCtacher wouldn't install properly without the Interceptor.Dll (because I first blocked it when AdWatch Alert flagged the registry mod.) So, the fact is...they ARE using it... but for some reason do not wish to state that outright and dispell the growing concerns about SpyCatcher... I will remain persistent with my research and keep you posted. -Doug
