What can you do once you`re clean? Well, first you should secure your computer by following the steps outlined in the Castlecops Wiki.
Then, it`s time to fight back against the stuff that infected you. The FTC has taken rogue programs down before.
Call your representitives and demand legislation to take these sites down. You should also contact your ISP and demand all the protection they can advise. Finally, you can take the sites down yourself. Yes, even you can do it. Do a whois of the site that infected you, and send an email or two to the abuse department.
