As we all know CastleCops is one of the Premier places to be when problems appear on the good old machine. As CastleCops has grown there have been many changes made. In the beginning CastleCops did not do HJT Logs. The problem was that more and more people were having problems and came to CastleCops looking for assistance. Out of this need to help, Paul and Robin started the HJT forum.
This is not the only Forum here that started out of the need for support.
The AntiVir Forum came about in the same manner. I had noticed at the German Forum that there was a need for English support and that so many people were using the English version that I bugged Paul until we had a new Forum.
After quite sometime Lavasoft stopped free support and many of the helpers moved to CastleCops, once again Paul had to create new forums – this time in multiple languages.
During this time I happened to notice that CastleCops had gained a large number of German speaking members. This caused me to start bugging Paul again about setting up more German Language Forums.
What did he do? He started CastleCops Deutsch and made me Administrator. That was back on 7 November 2005. One year ago! We had our “Birthday” on Tuesday. So here and now I would like to thank Paul and Robin for starting this thing. It has not always been easy but sure has been interesting!
I would also like to thank the many staff members here (and especially those that still help over there) that helped get things going.
And most importantly those people that have visited CastleCops Deutsch and made the investment a worthwhile one!
