image $33,000 for DDoS Bandwidth Charges image
CastleCops
My previous provider, ApplicationX informed us today that had we been billed on a 95th percentile (instead we were on capped bandwidth) during the DDoS against CastleCops, our total bill would have been $33,000 US. This figure is at a discounted $33 per Mbit. CastleCops would have disappeared just like that, if we were on 95th percentile. Thankfully, our old host doesn't charge their customers that way!

Whoever started the DDoS must really hate you.
Is there any chance you'll ever find who he was, bring him to justice and make him pay for all the damage?
You are doing a marvellous job and this has upset the bad guys who want after you in force, keep up the good work.

You say your 'old host'. Did you leave them?

Do I remember correctly that Prolexic was the company that couldn't protect Blue Frog from its attackers?

Have they been hosting your DNS all along? Are they part of the attack issues you've been having?

When Alexander saw the breadth of his domain, he wept for there were no more worlds to conquer.
