Google quietly acquires Greenborder Pro |

Greenborder Pro was one of the sponsors in our great contest giveaway earlier this year. Yesterday I had tried to email someone at greenborder only to see a bounce back from a Google gateway. I didn't think anything of it, because domains are permitted to setup shop at Google's Gmail servers. But today I read that the $25 million VC raised GreenBorder was purchased by Google for an undisclosed sum (< $50 M?), now the bounce makes sense. What is exciting about this is the application sounds like it'll be free in the Google Pack. At the same time this is going on, the FTC will be reviewing Google's intended acquisition of DoubleClick for $3.1 Billion. I didn't see that one coming (Greenborder that is).
