SPAM
I beg to differ with that title, because as the start of the body goes from an email I've received a few times:

"NOTE: We are not spammers and are against spamming of any kind.We are sending this mail with sole intention of link exchange for mutual benefit. If you are not intersted in Link Exchange then you can reply simply "NO", We will never contact you again."

Now if that isn't a large road sign saying "we are spammers" then I do not know what is. The pitch is to get a link exchange on with netsurfingguide.com and closeoutcctv.com. Yes, I'm sure we've all seen this kind of trash, and we'll probably continue to see more of it. Just thought I'd rant about it. beware security@indiasem.net

I think what they want to do is to verify that the email address is real and that you are gullible enough to reply in one way or another and then collect the email addresses and re-sell them.

No, They're not spammers.
But they are on the front line of distribution of bad codes.

Just report them as spam.
and delete their emails.
