America Online
So that is it, AOL has decided to stop development on Netscape, the one-time popular web browser. On February 1, 2008 AOL will cease issuing code for the current version of Netscape. So what does all this mean?

Rest in peace Netscape, a browser the majority of surfers enjoyed before the current market winners took over.
