The recycle bin search facility you suggest is something I've wanted forever. It's impossible to find anything in the recycle bin at present unless you know exactly who it's from or its exact message subject. A search would resolve this perfectly.
I think a textbox and button with the label "Try it out" would be a nice feature for the dialog form when you add regular expressions.

Putting in a value and clicking the "Try it" button would validate the text with the rules presented and say "matched" "doesn't match" or something.

This would help the user know that it was working as planned.

Thanks,
Good, Neill.
EVEN MORE IMPORTANT feature:

I'd LOVE to be able to search the recycle bin for a keyword. Reason - My email fills up with several hundred spams a day. Mailwasher Pro is a godsend.
Still there are rare times when an important and expected email gets mis-categorized as spam.

A search would let me find that and also give me the confidence to hit the Empty button knowing that the message I'm awaiting is not hidden in the huge pile of trash.

Tnx for an excellent product!
I'd love it if after I looked at the contents of my Recycle Bin, clicked "Empty the Recycle Bin", and then clicked "Yes - I want to proceed" - that the Recycle Bin would CLOSE automatically without my needing to take the extra step of clicking the "Close" button.

After all - why would I want to continue looking at an empty Recycle Bin?
Good suggestion Stan. Done.

Good suggestion Paul. I often miss the fact that there's a big msg to download ... and sometimes when I specifically look for that! It's an important consideration when using dialup as I often would rather wait to download msgs if it's going to take a while.
_________________

CastleCopsWiki

Even though I have the "Size" column right next to the "From" column, in MWP, I still sometimes forget to look at it before downloading my email messages. When it turns out to be a 7.5 MB message, and the person sometimes sends it twice, I get a little upset with myself for not noticing.
A display color for size => specified, would be helpful for me.
