I can't change my e-mail addy in Profile and when I put in my password to confirm, the system says it doesn't agree. I know I haven't forgotten my password, but it seems to not be working. Can it be reset with an e-mail to me so I can go in and make changes to my profile? I even tried the first one that was sent to me and that didn't work either.

Or is there a help topic I missed somewhere regarding passwords?

I tried changing the real email ( /modules.php?name=Your_Account&op=edituser ) and it took just fine. Is that where you tried?

Funny It doesn't work if you try it through "Profile" and "Registration Information" at the top of the Forums (which is what I was trying to use)

Took me a while to figure out where the "Your account" thing was (on the main page but not in here, right?) Anyway....went there and entered my password and it worked perfect.

Uh, Oh. Now my Avatar is gone

Try deleting and re-uploading it ( /modules.php?name=Forums&file=profile&mode=editprofile). Looks like you found a bug.

Well, had to re-upload my Avatar again

Changing my e-mail in the "Your Account", made my Avatar disappear completely from my profile

jaykaykay...usually it IS me, but I think you are right. Twas weird! I wonder if anyone else has tried changing their e-mail addy in Profile vs. Your account and had the same problem?

Hopefully in a couple weeks this will be fixed.

Glad to know twas just a bug. At least if someone else runs into it between now and then, they can find the "workaround" in this exercise in meantime.
