Sorry to admit I'm asking this before downloading the trial version. However, I was wondering if this software can be set up to auto-bounce emails on a blacklist without auto deleting them?

I'm sure this sounds like a wierd request, but I have someone emailing me and I'd like them to think my email address is no longer valid (and I'd like it to bounce automatically). However, I need to keep the emails for legal purposes if requried.

Many thanks!

Mailwasher won't automatically bounce only and auto-delete will only work on the blacklist which will allow bouncing what it deletes if I understand that correctly.

That said if your ISP allows bouncing you can bounce manually without deleting the e-mail.

Somewhere around here was a program to push the process mail button every few minutes, I don't recall where though.

<P><STRIKE>Stan, I'm not sure that's true. I think when you click the bounce checkbox, the delete checkbox is checked automatically. And if you uncheck Delete, Bounce also gets unchecked.</STRIKE></P>

<P>I was informed that this behavior no longer exists in v3.2</P>

What, no HTML?

TimeGhost, that may have been the way it worked in the past but not with v3.2. Now each checkmark is independent when manually marking messages.

Cool! I hadn't noticed. Thanks for correcting me. I apologize for spreading mis-information.
