Two problems, first you posted your e-mail address in a public forum where spammers can harvest it and did it as a guest which means you can't edit your post to get it removed... Ouch!
Second nobody here this weekend can do that, however you can download one from firetrust.com using the free download link and be running in a few minutes. If you lost your key you will need to send an e-mail to support@firetrust.com and ask them for a new one. Include the e-mail address you used when you paid for the original one and let them know if you got it from them or Zone Labs.
Hope number two helps, number one might be able to be fixed by the forum admins if you ask them nicely, registering and using a PM is the best bet, include the url of the post above so they can find it.
I won't respond by e-mail since that would reveal my e-mail address and I've become very careful about doing that! _________________ Questions? Try the wiki

An alternative, not totally safe, would be to use javascript to display email in a form that the reader can see but the robot can not.
Could you post your visa while you are at it in javascript? It will not be picked up by a robot (informational purposes only of course). ;" ;"

Spammers are too lazy to look for difficult encodings, they will even pass on "joe at blow.com" most of the time...
Speaking of encoders this one is great:
http://www.hiveware.com/enkoder_form.php
This one is simple and you can run it from your own copy if you do a save page:
http://www.wbwip.com/wbw/emailencoder.html
I'll be adding a personal info encoder to my website soon, feel free to drop by and post all your personal info there, I promise not to order that new Dell I've been looking at, the Porsche is another matter... _________________ Questions? Try the wiki

Thanks for the car. Sort of thinking more along these lines:

Hi Perry, I just edited your first post and removed your email address so it won't be visible to all for eternity Ach _________________ “What success a man builds from his gifting can be destroyed in a moment because of character.”

That was one of the ones I looked at when I started hiding my e-mail that had problems with FrontPage 2000, it works in 2002 as long as the user has java enabled.
I usually use my second suggestion as it doenn't depend on java. _________________ Questions? Try the wiki

I doubt it was my actual address that you edited out, although you probably still did me a favor.
Just in case something passed do you know what you edited out?

Some versions of FrontPage caused a lot of problems when doing edits on previously generated pages. I simply use Editpad on everything and then refresh the browser for viewing.
On my site I use Javascripts in lots of places and don't disable it, just wish that it was a little more bullet proof.
I use a popup for example to overlay a help file on top of a displayed picture. Close the popup and picture is instantly displayed since it was there all the time. An example is to go to www.onthewingsofadove.tzo.com and then go to doves and select something like two frame remote viewer. I'd give you the full path however my wife called and said we have a power outage that has forced her to drop the server before it dropped itself.
This is a web picture viewing program. I heavily modified the templates for doing some tricks not in the originals. For example when you go forward on the larger pictures and hit a boundary the thumbnails will refresh so they always reflect the location of the larger picture. In the single viewer version the thumbnails are shown in a single column, but the column will slide up or down to keep the current large picture syncronized with the thumbnails. This was a whole lot trickier to do then it may look at first.
The site currently has one resident, my mother. It is a demo site for a project I have been considering doing on a much, much larger basis.
Javascript is one of those things that can be used for enhanced security, however like nearly everything else lately it adds a few problems of its own, I guess its time to look at proxies in this area as well. Maybe we can call it HTML Washer.
I hope this gets posted only once, I keep getting a no post selected error.

There was an e-mail address displayed above the name in the first post in this thread. Might have been real or fake, I didn't try it just mentioned the problem in the hopes it could be fixed and others wouldn't get caught with the same problem.

I believe you were looking at a half fake. When I did the post I had the first one not indicate the view the message, etc. so wasn't sure it went through. The second time I handled it differently as I noticed that the first one had one half of something I didn't want inside of the message so I edited it out of the script. The first was also a cut and past from the source code of the page which when run showed the fake address. The second one was strickly the script. What you deleted was something good to delete, but only half of what was needed to cause problems was present, the rest probably could easily be figured out.
I've been running into a little posting problem here for some reason, sometimes giving me an error about not having a posting method selected, at other times popping up the server not found. Noticed the same problem down the road from me. When checking a message before I have found ones that have been posted, others that did not.
The other method using the html character tags I sort of like, however I think it wouldn't be all that hard to design a robot to decode, although the overhead may not be ideal.

Actually I don't think it was your post Perry, rather Acheton actually edited the OP by preed407 but attributed your name for some reason.

Ikeb's right, I edited the original post and removed the email address, I can remember it the first part was the same as the guest name and the second was hotmail.com. _________________ “What success a man builds from his gifting can be destroyed in a moment because of character.”

Ikeb,
Ok.
I did have some problem with the post and when I cut and pasted the original message with the javascript in it the dummy address was displayed in the upper left hand corner of the post. I saw this about the time I hit post. However like has been happening fairly often the post did not appear to actually occur, got an error instead. At this point I was able to undo the bad stuff and resend. The bad stuff was simply part of one of my addresses which I was playing with with the script, not the whole thing. After playing with it I thought it best not to even give out that much.
I usually check immediately after posting and didn't think I seen the half goober but then it was getting late so who knows.
Thanks.
Perry
