I'll kick this off with the following:

Kdissert is a really slick little app that is kind of like a "mind map" only more... it runs quick, does it's job beutifully and.....has a flash demo...to show you how to use it... I've used it for a while with a business thingy I'm doing...
Soooo.....anybody else have one or two really slick Linux apps they want to post about?

Automatix is a boon on Ubuntu and Kubuntu, specially for installing Flash, codecs etc.

Gambas - for those who are used to Visual Basic programming. It's not exactly VB though, but some of the syntax are very similar to VB.
