My boyfriend's ex-wife still shares the TMobile phone contract. She found my number and calls me and threatens that she'll call the cops because I'm calling her, and tells my boyfriend that I am harassing her. Of course he doesn't believe her, and if I were I know the cops have better things to do in Chicago. But I suspect she's trying to lure me into calling her so it will validate her fantasy. Any suggestions other than the obvious (he's got to just get his separate phone contract, or I just continue to hang up on her)? My cell phone provider is Sprint.

Contact TMobile and Sprint and request she is barred from calling your number due to illegal harassment. Some providers may offer call barring from certain numbers for a fee.

Remember that even after changing contracts your boyfriend's ex will still have your number - it may be simpler and cheaper to change your own number and be careful who you give it out to.
