Hi, I have a question about "Pest Patrol". I want to know if they are on anyones "Rogue List?" If they are, where do I look to find that information?
I thought that I had read an article about them on spywarewarrior's site, however, I can not seem to find it again, and I am wondering if I might have mis-read something about them.

Shoot! Nope, I checked that one out, however the one that I thought that I had read about them was not very complimentary, and had them in the "bad guy" list.
Is there any other company with a similar name that I could have confused with theirs?

Hi, Wendy. I have never seen PestPatrol included on a rogue list but there is a body of opinion, that I agree with, that PestPatrol is prone to false postitives. You may possibly have read something about that.

Pest Patrol is certainly a rogue.
Its among the world’s finest anti-spyware solutions.
It comes from the house of CA (Computer Associates)
Thought there have been some false positive issues people have been talking about. Yet CA is a reputed company.
It owns a big online Spyware and Virus encyclopedia.

This shows how detailed their researches are when it comes to malware.
It is certainly not a rogue because SpywareWarrior lists pest Patrol in its recommended downloads list that follows

i am sorry for the typo..
i mean Pest Patrl is certainly NOT a rogue. Its among the best ones. Sorry for confusion. I could not edit the post as castle cops allows to edit within 15 minutes of posting.

Pest Patrol is very old last one as far as i know was 2004 and was good so new?? URL ??
