Hello,
I've got a current version of ZA Pro running on my desktop and my laptop. Recently, I created a new user on my laptop, and now I get an IP address conflict message when I try to connect the laptop to my LAN. From the cmd prompt, I'm seeing all zeros when I search for ipconfig info. How can I get my new user to connect to my LAN?

how are the ip addresses distributed on your lan? if there is no dhcp then you will need to manually assign the ip address to your laptop

I don't know how the IP addresses are distributed - how can I determine this?

Hold on - I'm looking in the network connections, and have found a difference in settings - I'm on the right track here...the laptop now has an internet connection, and I can see the laptop from the desktop but can't access it, and I can't see or access the desktop from the laptop. What next?

Been there, done that. Including the router. HOWEVER, the new user profile on the laptop used a number just outside the range I had set. I modified it, and all's well. Thanks for stimulating the brain cells!
