I use Mailwasher at home and at my office. Is there a way to have the settings sync so if you change it in one it can change in the other(s)? I spend a lot of time trying to port the information over but then you lose information that the importer has set. Especially useful for friend and foe lists.

No great way. You can exit MW, copy the data files (see location in Help, About) and then with MW closed copy the files onto the other computer.

If either MW is running when you do the copy you'll end up with corrupted files.

Could you not install MW onto some form of external drive / media that can be re-written to with settings configured & take that with you between home/work

Short answer... Not easily. MW is hard coded to use a specif directory and the Windows registry.

This comes up from time to time and I've seen other posts discussing the details of what has to happen to make it work but have pretty much ignored them. A bunch of searching might turn up more info but how much good it would do you I'm not sure.
