Hello,
I'm having a problem with a game display on a PC laptop. The graphics card is an ATI Mobility Radeon Xpress 200 series.
The game in question is Railroads, which isn't graphics-intensive, The water either isn't there at all, or it displays incorrectly. All other aspects of the game seem normal.
The laptop is a 3 year old HP Pavilion zv6015 with 1GB RAM and sufficient hard drive space. There are no known other display issues.
Any ideas on what is causing the problem with the water display?

does your comp satisfy your game tech requirements? If yes try installing the latest DirectX (use full download not web installer)

I would have to assume from the age and "level" of the computer, that it does satisfy the gave tech requirements (like I said, it's not a graphics intensive program), but how do I know for sure?
We will download and install DirectX9 when I get home on Friday.

Download and installation of DirectX did not solve the problem. The water display (color and movement) is still way off, but everything else is fine.
