HI, thanks for the help. Maybe someday I can interperet the log files myself.

The cpu is actually my Dads and it went downhill in one day. Has many hundreds of viruses, fake antivirus softwares, desktop has been hijacked, missing shortcuts, admin rights stripped, internet access disabled on existing accounts and system restore points appear to get deleted by a virus. C:drive, My Computer, Control Panel, etc are missing and hard to get to.

Sorry for the delay. I don't know if you had noticed or not, I assume you did, that the forum had some issues. Many people could not get on to the site. This has lasted at least a month.

Well, things seem to better for now and hope they stay that way.

If you still need help, do this for me:

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from http://www.besttechie.net/tools/mbam-setup.exe or http://www.majorgeeks.com/Malwarebytes_Anti-Malware_d5756.html

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

* Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
* The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
* The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
* Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply along with a new HJT log.

HI, I was having a few problems getting on the site at times but I was able to post still.

I no longer need assistance on this issue.

I was able to 'flash' the harddrive back to how it came from the factory from Dell. Apparently they partition a part of the harddrive specifically for this, it is different than System Restore. It was amazingly simple and fast to fix the PC this way. It basically was a quick way to start over without totally reinstalling Windows. It was called Dell System Restore or something like.
