Frankly. I am so bitter about the number of DoS attacks that have recently affected some of my favorite sites/people.
We now return you to your regularly scheduled thread. Laughing

So Paul?
Have you been able to figure out why some people using proxies do not have their real IP disclosed when using your test?
I tried this one http://www.all-nettools.com/pr.htm and it too says that I am not proxied.
Here are my pertinent specs.
Proxo 4.3 (No ZX List) waiting for new list Wink
Sygate 5.0 Pro with IP Spoofing, anti-MAC spoofing, and OS Masque enabled.
I've tried several of these IP Revealers. I get the same results and I like it!!
But I wonder what I might be doing that fools these tests into thinking my Proxy address is my REAL IP?

Two ways to get your real ip:

- through the IP packet headers
- running javascript on your computer to return real IP

If you disallow scripting, you have taken care of that issue. The first one you can only hide by using a remote proxy that doesn't forward your real IP in the packets. Some proxies do forward your real IP.

Ok. It's either the Proxy or the Java settings I'm using in Proxo. I allow scripting in IE, but that scripting is policed by Proxo.
I love Proxomitron Mr. Green

Now lets home that the next worm finds its way into my 1000 or so contacts. Some stop at 50 but since this is alphabetical I don't have much of a choice. Good idea anyway.

We'll have to wait and see... don't forget, the service also serves as a double check on files too.
