1. It would be nice if I could just check the home page of Firetrust and see what is the current version - how easy would that be to implement? In fact, I can't find the current version info anywhere on their site - pretty slack!

2. How hard is it to find some of the setup options? How about just having ALL the options in ONE place!

3. Seeing that MWP is not clever enough to bounce most spam, how about including a simple email client within MWP so that we don't have to load another program to do something with our legitimate email? Its a wonder that Eudora and other email clients don't allow the user to look and delete before downloading (actually I think they do allow that with mapi - whatever that is). If they do introduce that feature for pop3, I would see no reason to use MWP at all if it cannot get enough smarts to actually bounce spam.

4. Sorry, but MWP is a bit raw and mostly doesn't actually do what I bought it for, i.e. to bounce crap back where it came from.

Try this setting, jay. Guaranteed to bounce like a Jack Rabbit.

Patience, Firetrust is beta testing its new build to be released to the public soon I think. Lots of goodies and fixes Very Happy There have been no public releases since MWP was launch. The latest beta build I am using is 3.0.47.

Hi Lt. Mole. OK, tried that and it works, thanks for the tip.

I wonder why MWP defaults to the "use remote with local fallback" option.

No doubt there's plenty about this subject that I don't understand (yet).

MWP now looking less raw!
