I have been mia for awhile ..........I have to agree with pretty much the commentary up to now. The K.I.S.S. theory may, in fact, be in order.........you might ask...........what makes dslr tick?? If any of the stuff that works with dslr will work here........let's implement where possible.......I'm probably the most .......to steal a phrase from a friend.........techno challenged mod at the site........and I have never found this site confusing or overwhelming.........I have ........IMHO ..........found it ......at times to lack spark........we need a gimmick........I personally don't go to any of the other forums much anymore.........I don't have the time.......but I do still use dslr....mostly the security page.......and their security page ......in case you have not noticed.........over the past few weeks.........has become stale and boring...........

Yes most of these topics from DSLR are just posts. The point is they are getting responses. These people are waiting for a post that they can either use or contribute too. In the mean time they are just posting to comment on the subject, whether it is helpful or just adding their two cents worth. The point is they are waiting for something to grab their interest and when this happens they post.

The written word will have some kind of effect on the individual who reads it. They have to come to a site to read.

I IM R2 about why are you asking this question? He knows about Spider. Another host had asked him how to do this without the use of Spider. This generated people’s interest and gave them a reason to try something. It got people involved. To me personally Spider works great. So this did not interest me. Why do work when it has already been done for you. As stated above K.I.S.S.
