Did Pete really say that the most grievous sin is
sexual? If so, I think he made a most grievous error.
So it's adware that clogs up my skull for the first hour of the morning as I slog about in my under ware groping blindly about the counter for the coffee pot.
"Proverbs says a Mother's "Greif" is "a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother." Proverbs 10:1 "
A wee bit of a stretch.........more like...10:1
The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother. This would appear to be the origin of the "my son when good", "your son when bad" dichotomy, and is not particularly good family politics. _________________ If evolution is outlawed, only outlaws will evolve

The father wants to have little or nothing to do with the son because his foolishness brings him shame. The proverb is probably designed to encourage mothers to train their sons in wisdom, so that their lives will not be troubled by the added burden of looking after foolish sons.

I only use "your son" when I am ticked off at our son and his dad...

Nah...I think it is up to the men, to make men out of their boys...women will make em sissies...Have your ever seen the movie Major Payne, with Damon Wayans?
There is a line in there: "Time to pop the titty out the mouth"...
If left to our own devices, we may smother, rather than mother...You know, I was NEVER a boy...It would be like me trying to tell a Martian, that I could better train a martian-young-un... _________________
