Took a while to finally graduate college though... _________________ TF-116 Gamewarden (PBRs) RivRon 59 -- 'Nam '69

It's never too late folks! Stay in school, or go back, and finish at least a Bachelor's - truly worth the sacrifices. If I can do it, working full time, carrying a full load in school, having (at the time) a first class self-centered b&tch for a wife(!), a teen-aged daughter (coming of age!!!) and a young son, ANYONE can! _________________

Nice to know I'm not the only silver surfer shuffling around the help forums.
RAF 1953-55, Radio
Raytheon '55 to'96, Radar
1st main frame - Zebra, 1st media - punched paper tape on a TTY (on DEC), 1st micro - Texas 9000, 1st office PC - IBM, twin big floppies.
Still learning.

Twin V-6 Diesels. Used to put out a few hundred horses each.
I don't remember the exact specs off the top of my head,
because EM wasn't my primary rate. We all just had to know
enough to make everything work in case the EM was greased -- and then again, it was a looooooooooong time ago!
Why do you ask? Were you over there too? If so,
who were you with / and when? Just curious...

Hey Bill,
Go here and hover your mouse over the blue triangles; you'll dredge up a few memories then.
http://www.rafweb.org/Stations/Index_East%20Anglia.htm
Did most of my private flying training and pleasure flying over East Anglia, out of Andrewsfield and over lots of bases, calling in at Old Buckenham, Norwich, overflying Wattisham, Bentwaters et al. Even the ploughed up fields still show vestiges of the familiar three-runway triangles that were wartime standard here.
Regards,
