Have you tried setting a seperate boot partition?

You might also try booting with the power management functions disabled.

What do you mean by seperat boot partition?
What I did was 3 to 4 seperat partitions for Win (C:/ for booting Primary and active, logical for all other Win partitions D:/ for data , F:/ for backup and just now I put a G for bootMagic hoping this could work this time). For Linux with Partition Magic I reserved still in the extended partition a swap partition and a Ext2 linux partition both active.

I will on this installation try desable the power management function, where do I do it?

And of course thank you for your very fast answer

When you set up your partitions just add one called /boot usually a small one is plenty but if you plan on suspend to disk you might want to use 50 MB or so for faster suspend speed.

The power management settings should be in your BIOS, once you get grub working you can turn them back.
