I was referred to this forum for help as I have the registered version of Firetrust Encrypt, but unfortunately I'm unable to even install it on an XP SP2 computer.

Upon installation, FE pops up an error message claiming incompatibility with the version of .NET Framework (2.0.50215.44) which is currently installed (it came with the latest beta of MS Visual Studio Express). FE wants an earlier version of the .NET Framework in order to let itself install.

Is there any possibility of FE supporting newer versions of the .NET Framework? I really want to install and use FE, but I also need the latest version of Visual Studio Express.

I would greatly appreciate any help and/or input.
