If you use an anti-spyware program with real-time protection features, you may receive two alerts - one for the toolbar and one for a browser helper object (BHO). Be sure to allow both to be installed for the toolbar to work properly.
Internet Explorer may be set to not allow third-party plugins. To check this option, go to Internet Explorer >> Tools >> Internet Options >> Advanced tab >> Enable the "Enable third-party browser extensions" check box.
Also check that SiteHound is enabled in Internet Explorer >> Tools >> Manage Add-ons
Note that you may have to log off and back on for Internet Explorer to begin using the newly-installed toolbar.
If the toolbar is still not visible then with SiteHound installed, and no Internet Explorer windows open, click Start >> Programs >> Firetrust >> SiteHound >> run the Repair SiteHound
