Do I have to be a programmer? well... I happen to be a master at breaking my computer, so I have no problem in installing this Vista thing into my desktop so I can get a feel of it, besides, castlecops is always there to lend a hand when I break things...
Vista means view in spanish... well, there's a saying in spanish that says "in the land of the blind, the one eyed is king" (might be in english too, i dont know) well I think in this case we are the blind and Microsoft is the one eyed.... Problem is, all the malware writers out there have two eyes, and they know how to read and write a lot faster than the giant cyclops, our king. Once I read an articel a looooong time ago from some hacker that said "even ifyou put your computer in a bunker underneath fort knox, unplug it, surround it by armed guards, fences, dogs, mustard gas bombs, and have 20,000 people monitoring every move the computer makes.... I still wouldnt bet a dollar it wouldnt get broken into" (vague quote from the idea I got when I read it)
Are we ever going to have a safe operating system? a self contained, self purging, stable and secure one?
Speeds are getting increasingly faster by the day... soon internet will be in real time, and computers will get so quick that they may even be faster than time itself.... naah... maybe all youll have to do is think about clicking and it will do it for you... (may-be)
im tired of having to worry about if my computer gets infected, it has many times, even though im at the king's front door everyday downloading patches and security d/l's and this and that, antivirus updates, firewall configurations, pop-up blockers, spyware killers, defragmenting scanning, cleaning, unexploiting exploits, reading doing....
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! will I ever have time to actually enjoy my computer?????
who knows... _________________ FyT
