I'm trying to fix a PC running Win 98 se. Once a day I get a blue screen of death with kebugcheckex on it.

It says the system is halted. How do I fix this? I know windows fairly well, but I'm not a programmer.

All windows updates have been applied. Nortons A/V is up to date. I ran spybot 1.4 and it did not find anything. The system is hardly used for the internet. It uses AOL for mail which is stored online.

Hi Tonytis,
It looks like this is part of the debug process in Windows. I think the screen may be telling you that a portion of the Kernel is not working properly. You should be getting some error codes with the crash. There isn't much to go on without those codes. Can you supply them?
