Tried going to the Knujon Registered Users forum, but got...
Sorry but only users granted special access can read topics in this forum
I'm a registered beta-tester with Knujon. How do I (and others) go about requesting "special access"? _________________ "In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. But, in practice, there is." ~ Jan L. A. van de Snepscheut

Meanwhile, maybe alanstancliff will be kind enough to share his secret.
So far, alan, you're the only one who has posted in the Registered Users forum.
[Quick edit: maybe you better not share your secret — for security reasons.]

In response to questions about how I gained access. There is no secret protocol known only to enlightened initiates.
I just wrote Knujon and asked for access. It took about a week or so for them to respond. In the email I sent them, I let them know I was a beta tester.
I gather that Knujon is pretty swamped right now, judging from the time it takes them to respond to our queries here. I don't think I am a favorite or anything--it's just that they found the time to process my request some time after I had made it.
It seems that right now, this antispam project is a labor of love and the Knujon folks are trying to run a couple of businesses while piloting this project. This is a beta project and they are learning as they go. Undoubtedly, our feedback is helpful to them.
If their beta works out well. they'll probably figure out some way of making it finance expanding the scope of this project and perhaps cover some expenses. Probably right now it is costing them a few dollars and, more importantly, lots and lots of unpaid hours. Here's hoping they can make Knujon financially self-sustaining, able to expand its activity. One can only wish them the best of luck in creating viability for this project.
Right now, it's pretty dead over in the restricted forum. There have only been 3 posters. To tell the truth, none of us have posted anything very significant. The open forums are currently where all the action is. The restricted forum seems to be not quite ready for prime time, but perhaps pretty soon it will be.
Regards,
Alan

First of all, the registration procedure has to be clear. Secondly there has to be a number of folks able to post; a "critical mass" if you will. Thirdly, there has to be some reason to post within a group-confidential forum.

Ikeb,
All three of your points are quite valid. Especially the third. I am not quite sure why it is restricted. Knujon will let us know their thinking on this, I'm sure.
Regards,
Alan
