[A] I would like to have a simple blitzlist that is more aggressive than the blacklist.
1. All email addresses contained in the blitzlist would have the email deleted without opportunity to review or make other choices.
2. This would cut down on the length of the 'long red/pink list.'
3. All addresses added to the blitzlist would have to be typed or copied in because of the "severity" of email handling in this list.
4. This perhaps replicates a function in the filters but it simplifies the process of never having to see emails from some addresses ever again.
5. I suggest just 'delete' rather than 'bounce' for the reasons others have proposed in other threads.
6. Although this action can be achieved in Blacklist, I would like to choose the permanent delete option for only a few addresses that remain as long-term offenders.
[B] Warning list
I suggest that another list be made available for emails coming from some domains like public email providers, such as hotmail and yahoo.
For example, most mail I get from yahoo is rubbish. However, a newly subscribed friend might email me from that site. If the MW mail table flagged such email by a new colour, say bright yellow, I could pick out valid emails quickly and choose to whitelist if I wanted. The usual intelligent email scanning could still be used to filter out the real dross.
[This idea springs from a thread that I saw only briefly before losing it. The thread that is, not the plot!]
I am a newbie to forum activity. If I should have been able to find the answer by a search of previous posts, pls advise a url to see how I can do this to avoid duplicate queries.

You might look at doing some filters to do much of what you want, check the wiki for tips. _________________ Questions? Try the wiki

Also you might want to search for "from address". You'll find that any decision based on the From address is prone to falsing.
