Hi,
I am running WinMe on this box.
I have c:\windows\system\ir32_32.dll There is no sign of the other file.
My registry entry just says ab "default" value not set
Hope that this helps

Hi albat,
As far as I can see it should not be in "users" at all, and the one you want in "current user" is ir32_32.dll.
You could always get one of the computer mags and reinstall IE from the cover CD? if it goes pear shaped (which it should not)
Good luck mate and post back if you have any problems
pete

every thing i have read on this points to the following:
IR32_32.DLL (an Indeo codec [compression/decompression]
This a driver needed for standard Microsoft video compression/decompression.
since all i have read only talks about ir32_32.dll and nothing about ir32.dll i would says removing ab 000 "ir32.dll from the registery would be the right step. NOTE: back up the reg first then export the reg key that you are changing. this way if something goes wrong you have a way back. _________________ Let me know,
