E-mail has "entered our lives at warp speed, and the law needs to keep up," she said of her lawsuit, filed earlier this month in federal court in Canada. "You can't interfere with the mail. The post office has to return a letter even when it doesn't have enough postage."
Carter's legal odyssey is unfolding in the wake of bankruptcies among major ISPs including Excite@Home and Northpoint Communications, failures that have put ISP consumer protection issues on the front burner for lawmakers in the United States.

Scary????? This gal is off her nut..LMAO  Bitching about Lost email for whatever reason..is like suing the Italians because Mt Etna caused your Cat to have Kittens. If she thinks email is like the post office..this gal is looking for more control over the Internet that is going to throw any concern of PRIVACY right other the window...next thing you know she will want them to hire some guy to look at all the email and hand sort all the ones that are mislabeled to try and find the right recipients.
She can Have all my Klez email..give me her email addy?
Oh look..we just found your job opportunity Nancy..sort this !
