That site is a real winner! They don't have a first tier application in the whole bunch. I will give them credit for having a couple that aren't on the rogue list though. _________________

Hi All!
Just found this site trying to learn the latest news on Spyware by searching on the web. My question is how do you know what works best at removing Spyware? There is so much hype and misinformation out there. My daughter's PC has got something on it causing it to act erradically and be slow. I also had trouble bringing up the XP Admin tools - Computer Management. Can you help me ramp up on the latest antispyware stuff so I can share it with my daughter?
Thank you,
A Newbie to Castlecops (1st post).

Thanks Paul!
I passed a copy of the info on to my daughter and will be going through it myself later this weekend.
By the way - I just setup a Linksys wireless & wired router in my home tied into Comcast broadband cable. Right now all my PC's, etc. are hard-wired on the LAN but is there software out there to monitor what's hitting the WiFi side of my Linksys router (it has 2 antennas currently folded down). Down the road I want to buy a wireless bridge to link to a classroom 250 feet away but for now I want to make sure I don't have a big security hole. The documentation that came with the router was not very good so I'm trying to figure out if I've got the WEP or WAP encryption setup properly.
Sorry for the off topic post - is their a Castlecops group that covers the home wireless security?
Thanks again!
John

Hi, John. You can post your network question in the Networking Forum. If you will, please, include the router model number in your initial post. _________________

This site has direct correlation to spyware detector! Look at there graphics the red ring is the same and everything. Is it possible to have a mass hanging for con-artists? I am going to have to vote for that at the next amendment juncture.

That page has been up for a while . It must be working for them .
The social engineering of that page is good .
Spywaredoctor and Spysweeper both beating two crummy security apps and then both getting beaten by this rogue .
Its to bad that there is no legal way to go after these guys . They are profiting off of Spywaredoctor and SpySweeper .
