Couple of questions then I will give some recommendations:
1. What do you do graphically on your computer (surf the web, play games, graphics art such as Photo Shop)?
2. How much money are you looking to spend?
3. How much longer are you looking to keep your current computer before you upgrade?
4. Do you have a preference between ATI or Nvidia products?
Let me know and I will recommend something _________________ "Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience".

Hi thanks for replying.i surf the web a lot i am starting to play games like medal of honour and call of duty.looking to spend roughly between £50 to £100 i am not going to get a new pc for a while so its probably the best card i can get for the present time possibly a year or a year and a half.
i have been looking at reviews on the web and i seeming to prefer the geforce 5200 better than the radeon 9200 but then it depends on what card i can install on my system thanks.no preference on ati and nvidia apart from the 9200 v geforce 5200

If you can scrape up a few extra pounds this would be the card for you:
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=14-131-221&catalog=48&depa=0
Not sure what the price in the UK will be, but shop around. If your going to be playing COD you need a pretty robust card and the 9600Pro is about as robust as your going to get for this low of a price. You definitely want something with a fan. Anything without a fan is going to get way too hot with some of the newer games. Save up a few extra pounds then shop around and try to find a good price on the 9600Pro. You will much happier in the long run as opposed to the 9200 or 5200.
*EDIT* the link I posted was just an example. Get a "Built By ATI" card not something from PowerCooler, Saphire, etc. _________________ "Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience".
