mouse related issues!

when i double click on a folder i get the SEARCH to open instead of the folder itself -

when i right click on a folder it has Search.. as the default option - rather than Open or Explore -

is there any way i can fix this association??

Did you go into Control Panel, mouse and check the properties? Maybe button assignments were changed there.
