It turned out pretty well for something which caused you concern!

I'm not sure what happened on my 24th - I'd had a look at 24 ..., Nb6 and thought I saw something I didn't like, so I decided to return the piece for some attacking chances. Looking at it again, I can't think what I was worried about with the knight move! Rolling Eyes

Somewhat reminiscent of your TWIO lapse in concentration when you posted the wrong move, although in different circumstances.

Next time, I'd best stick to the tried and tested variations!

Greetings, I will have to look over the 24...Nb6 option at a later time. Yes, I was rather surprised that you opted for such a wild variation, but it was your choice. I was also somewhat surprised when you put your Queen in the corner which I felt took it out of play and allowed that h4 venture which certainly did prove to allow me to regain the initiative, strengthen my defense and get my Queen back into play.
