I think these contests are very unique to the Internet. Also serving as history to CC's uniqueness. So why not leave them as announcements?

You said that right Paul because this was a great time in "CastleCops" history so you want to keep the threads and post.

I have just recently installed Prevx1 after it was recommended to me by a friend and after scanning my XP Home Edition PC it told me I had an infection. It didn't offer any cream or lotions to clear up the infection, nor did it allow me to clear the infection from my PC.

As a newbie to the Castle Cops family, I have read about Free Licenses for Prevx1 being won, granted or gifted by/to CC members but have no idea about how I can claim one for myself... Can anyone please help me to get hold of one of these free licenses?

I don't know of any other site right now. You said you installed Prevx1 so is it a paid version? I don't think you can clean up what it finds if you don't pay for it.
