The teams themselves will remain active.

To the committee: I know you tried very hard to make Team CC great, to make it stand out from the other teams in a number of ways not just by having actual science advisors and I know the amount of work you put in both on and off the site in pursuit of the Team CC vision. It saddens me a great deal to have to do this, however I fear we are faced with people who bare no respect for you or for what you were attempting to do. The potential of it still astonishes me, I'm sad we'll never see it come to fruition because it was a remarkable opportunity to help in a way we haven't done before.

Seafsee, thank you for bringing the BOINC projects to us. I'm sorry we couldn't do better by them, we did try.

To the rest of Team CC who are probably wondering what is going on:

Due to the conduct of a few individuals, this forum is being shut down. The teams themselves will remain active. Team CastleCops has its own namespace on our wiki wherein much of the information we wanted to publish here in the various forums will be housed instead. This is a decision Paul and I came to reluctantly tonight after receiving some information which basically left us no option.
