I clicked on this and it locked the page in a loop.
Aloha from Hawaii!
Why is the site so painfully slow that even on a fast cable connection the pages never stop loading and I have no graphics here? I have tried several times to come here in the past few weeks and had to give up as the site was either totally down or would never fully load. A few minutes ago, it finally loaded partially enough for me to finally get here.
Ahhh! Finally this page stopped loading just I was going to post this and I have graphics now. But this site is so extremely slow that I can't use it hardly as I have to wait many minutes for one page to load. I'm not having problems at other sites so it is not on my end. I hope this wonderful site is not undergoing another ddos.
Just yesterday, I tried repeatedly to get here so I could advise someone in the GRC NGs about coming here with a malware problem but the site was down totally. It was down the day before too and now soooo slow.

I split this from the Hello topic: /t189252-Hello.html .

The site has been up and running yesterday and today and the past week. There is another thread in this forum, General Site, that has several pages about our performance.
Actually, the past couple of days folks have been reporting better access times than the previous week. Yours is the first that contradicts that.
So what would help greatly is a couple of traceroutes to www.castlecops.com, in addition to the load time in the footer.
About a week ago there was a domain at ISC OARC under DDoS, and apparently Cogent was having issues out of Chicago that effected many sites whose users routed thru them. _________________ Paul Laudanski - http://www.laudanski.com
