Hi , I have windows xp home edition with 512 ram and 2.8 ghz pentium 4 120 hardrive. I will be upgrading the operating system to windows 2003 server. becasue am thinking of doing the mcse course but I will need to practice the commands and also learn active directory, exchange etc instead of me doing the course and I i don't know the practical side. So I've decided to buy a wireless laptop becasue i don't have enough space in bedroom for another desktop computer with another monitor. The spec of the wireless laptop is 1.8 ghz dual processor 1024 ram and 80gb hardrive. which i will network at a client with the server being a 2003 server. My setup is going to be wirless via a broadband hub. I have a few options either i buy laptop with windows xp profession or windows vista bussiness verion. Am not sure which on to go for any ideas? Personally my self am thinking of windows xp professional
becasue i think the mcse course will not have the latest configurations yet and they will have lots of configurations for windows xp pro. Also am thinking there might be alot of bugs on windows vista. what do you think guys? Also do you think i need to upgrade my server to atleast 1024 Ram if am going to install server 2003.
Regards
