Blue Shield not the gold one,for me that is.

i'm thinking of adding a blue background for that bit

i would need the original orb in .xcf (the gimps native format, png doesn't scale well) otherwise the edges look don't really work

if castlecops could make a s&d starter page (with all the appropriate links + news) which the link could go to

soon i'm planning to change the archive to self extracting

here is v1.06, it has a proper installer and it creates a group in program files for info about all castlecops s&d skins

it also has a readme file (same text is shown when running the installer)

if anyone else wants to create a skin send it to me and i will package it for you

i could put any necessary legal mumbo-jumbo in the readme file

eventually i hope to include an icon, an uninstaller and some very basic helpfiles

actually it wasn't my idea,
i just thought since they have one at calendar of updates for their site why not have one for CCSP?

whoever made the first one at calendar of updates was the original one.

well i wouldn't have made it if you didn't sujest it:D ...

here is version 1.1 with uninstaller and desktop shortcuts (for uninstall and readme (next version will include a better version of the spybot logo and a link to castlecops), i ditched the program files/start menu entry)

if you are using vista you will have to right click and "run as administrator" (even if you are logged on as one)

note that if you have used all of the previous versions they might have left quite a bit of junk on your system, have a look in the start menu and the skins folder if you want to remove it

maby all s&d skins that castlecops makes should be bundled into 1 installer so users have a wide variety to chose from (and also 99% of the download is the installer)

i really enjoyed making it - my desktop is covered in drafts/old version though
i anyone wants to make their own skin all you need is shreader (from safer networking) and the gimp

i had to erase a bunch of the files so that i could try the different ones,

they kept getting in each others way.

why not make one large file with the different skins in it and then choose from them?

it could be castlecops 1,2,3,4,5,etc,??

if we used that name format it would be easy to make the uninstaller (which is just a simple batch file)

it would be nice if i could upload .exe's as i don't see the point of zipping a self extracting archive (maby even make a special downloads page)
