I am a software tech-
I downloaded SFF from the recommended S!ri..., after reading a "Bustin' malware!" review.
My NOD32 AV blocked SFF as a virus (I thought was "false positive?"- NOT!). I disabled NOD32, and downloaded/saved SFF.
Ran it in Safe Mode, as instructed. All that it listed in search, looked good, so I DIDN'T clean/exit.
SFF apparently disabled/uninstalled my Counterspy anti-spyware, and tried to disable my NOD32! It installed a running/startup process called prcview.exe.
My next NOD32 scan alerted/deleted prcview.exe, as a "Win32/Prcview Application" virus!
I ran 3 powerful Registry cleaners..., to be get rid of all traces, and reinstalled Counterspy.
