Every once in a while i get this alerts from zonealarm pro anouncing of attcks to my netbios,or ftp through some open ports.What can i do to the ones that attcack me?There are some ip's displayed that have tried several times.Is there any way of teaching them a lesson not to play with these stuff?

People are rarely hacked anymore by an actuall hacker, most are just scanned by worms/trojans. The traffic most likely came from someone who was infected. Just ignore it and ensure that the firewall is configured properly.

I believe what you are seeing is nothing more than general internet background noise and should have no cause for alarm. If you are seeing these in your logs it is because they did not get through.

Probably one of the best things you can do is join the community of Zone Alarm users who submit their logs to a central anti-abuse site. There is strenght in numbers, where as you alone can't really get a lot done. One of the great sites for this is MyNetWatchman. You will get great information back on the logs you submit and help the whole community. It is a free srvice.
