You can make sage tea with sage leaves you buy in food co-ops or even some grocery stores... However, it will tend to clear your sinuses and, if you use it too much, it will cause cardiac arrhythmias and other problems... Keep in mind that some diet recommendations, particularly involving herbs, can be dangerous...
By the way, to answer your comment about how payment is in Canada... I just saw the movie Sicko over the weekend and apparently if you were in Canada, you would not have to worry about insurance and preexisting conditions since they have universal health care paid through taxes...

Which diet are you referring to? the one from the book that I bought, "Bruer's Cancer diet?"
That book stresses the importance of something called "Sage Tea". I've never heard of it, but I went into a local GNC store today, guy that worked there didn't have any, didn't remember ever carrying it. He mentioned trying somewhere else, eh, Wilbur's, or something? I took it to be another health food store, but I have no idea where there is one in my area.
Support group I joined is the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month. Yesterday was an off-day, I will definitely make it to the next one. Support group for my ostomy is the 1st Sunday of the month, that one's coming up next, I think.

Hello Oyle,
Good luck with the support groups.
You may want to get hold of iguagaby concerning where his family got the ingredients for the diet. Perhaps a google search or asking in one of the support groups
Stay well.

Don't take everything Michael Moore says as gospel. Yes we have basic health care covered by taxes so everyone has access to basic care without having to get clearance from some insurance skinflint. HOWEVER that only covers the basics. A frustrating number of things are termed "elective" or "vanity" procedures and most folks need insurance to cover such procedures.
An important point not directly related to government funding is that Canada has more liberal generic drug allowances, meaning that drug companies can't hold a whole society up for ransom with exclusive product pricing for decades. Here, drug patents are not as enduring, (~ 7 yrs v.s. double that in the US) giving drug companies time to recover R&D costs but allowing free market conditions much earlier. _________________
