With all the entries for SIRT, PIRT, MIRT not to mention hordes of other forum posts I have no interest in perusing or seeing at all, is there any way to exclude those forums from that 'new post' search?

I'd gather this would have to be some sort of customized script or something.

Sure would cut down on time spent, focusing only on the forums I deem pertinent to my interests.

OK, based on what I think that was, I'd say that it was a search of your favs?

Meaning all I have to do is collect up my favs and search from there?

This does not appear to be working.

I selected all the favs, went to the favs list to be sure I had everything correctly listed and then marked everything as 'read'.

Closed out browser, came back just now, went to favs, hit for new posts got several which were not in my favs list.

Perhaps server cache or something needs longer to clear out.

Will advise again later tonite when I return for my 'late nite shift'.

Thanks.

I think I'm right in saying that there's no similar RSS feed i.e. anything other than CastleCops Link/atomforums.php . Would it be difficult to set up such a feed?

I tried adding the RSS feeds, but it kinda of overloaded my feeder for the most part. I don't need alerts to every single post, just want to see the new ones when I visit.

Not much crucial, immediate info that I need to attend to right away for me from this forum. Just keeping up on things for most part in most of the forums.

It isn't for me.

I clicked both the 'New Forum Posts' and 'View posts since last visit' and I get the same results in total and encompassing forums which are not ticked as selections in my FavForums list.

Suggestions?
